We talked about my "Five Stages of Company Growth" as a framework to help executives understand how their leadership style needs to evolve to meet the current and future needs of their company. Many executives fall prey to their greatest success, meaning, they continue to go back to that style or behavior that made them successful before. But the best leaders are constantly focused on what the company and people need from them today and over the next few years. They quickly move on from their greatest success and seek new ways to be effective and add value.
