In his Consulting role, Michael works with companies to set overall strategies, build world class executive teams, raise capital, and clarify marketing strategies. Michael has served as CEO or COO multiple times in industries including financial technology, consumer electronics hardware, internet content and investment funds.

As a Coach (working with individuals), Michael likes working with leaders who, regardless of their age or experience, want to be more impactful, more authentic leaders.  He uses his deep operating experience, training in various coaching techniques, and his own personal journey to help clients discover new perspectives and master their superpowers.

 

Michael holds seats from time to time on various Boards of Directors and Advisory Boards.

 

From 2003 to 2005, Michael served as a consultant to a large public investment fund focused on stabilize the economy in Gaza and the West Bank.  His projects included restructuring and privatizing the electrical power plant in Gaza and establishing a bank bail-out fund to recapitalize Palestinian-based banks.

Michael was one of the early executives at CitySearch and helped merge that company with Ticket Master, then take them public.  He ran all international markets and all franchise markets in the US.

 

Earlier in his career, Michael was a consultant with The Boston Consulting Group focused on technology and media.  He started his career in banking providing debt financing for Leveraged Buy Outs and major public-market acquisitions.

He has studied Vedic philosophy (ancient Hindu texts) and Buddhist philosophy for the past 20 years.  Michael has been going to Burning Man since 2004 and is an avid world traveler and photographer.
